This Agreement is between you (“User”) and WeAudition Inc, trading as VertiCast, 2261 Market St STE 46068, San Francisco, CA 94114 (“VertiCast”, “we”, “us”).
By downloading, installing, or using the VertiCast mobile application (the “App”), you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
VertiCast is a mobile casting marketplace that enables:
Actors to create profiles and showcase videos, images, and experience
Casting professionals (including producers, directors, and casting teams) to discover and contact actors via in-app messaging
VertiCast is a platform only and does not participate in casting decisions, hiring, or negotiations.
2. TALENT LISTING DISCLAIMER (IMPORTANT)
VertiCast is a talent listing service only.
VertiCast is not a licensed talent agency and does not:
procure employment
guarantee auditions
guarantee casting outcomes
Only licensed talent agents may procure employment under applicable law.
3. USER TYPES
VertiCast supports two primary user types:
Actors (Subscribers) – paid access required
Casting Professionals – free access
All users are bound by these Terms.
4. SUBSCRIPTIONS (ACTORS ONLY)
Actor accounts require a paid subscription via Apple App Store or Google Play.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
Billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies
Your subscription provides access to the platform only.
It does not guarantee auditions, work, or representation.
5. NO GUARANTEE OF WORK OR LEGITIMACY
VertiCast does not:
verify all users or opportunities
guarantee legitimacy of casting professionals
guarantee safety of interactions
guarantee any professional outcome
Users are solely responsible for:
vetting opportunities
verifying identities
making safe decisions
6. USER CONTENT
THERE IS NO TOLERANCE FOR OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT OR ABUSIVE USERS.
Users may upload:
videos
images
profile information
messages
You retain ownership of your content.
However, by using VertiCast, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
display and distribute your content within the App
promote VertiCast (including marketing and social media)
We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion.
7. MESSAGING & USER INTERACTIONS (CRITICAL SECTION)
VertiCast provides messaging functionality but:
does not monitor all communications
does not control user behavior
You acknowledge:
interactions with other users are at your own risk
you are solely responsible for any off-platform meetings or agreements
VertiCast is not responsible for:
user misconduct
harassment
fraud
offline interactions
8. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Users must not:
harass, threaten, or exploit others
send inappropriate or sexual content
impersonate another person
misrepresent credits or experience
post false casting opportunities
use bots, scraping, or automation
VertiCast may:
suspend or delete accounts immediately
remove content without notice
9. ACCOUNT TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, without notice.
10. DISCLAIMERS
VertiCast is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We make no guarantees regarding:
platform availability
success outcomes
user behavior
accuracy of profiles
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
VertiCast is not liable for:
loss of work or income
failed casting opportunities
user misconduct or fraud
damages arising from use of the App
Liability is limited to the amount paid by you, or $100, whichever is less.
12. PRIVACY
Your use of VertiCast is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
14. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.
ADDITIONAL VERTICAST SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
VertiCast Actor Subscription
Subscription required for actor accounts
Billed via Apple App Store or Google Play
Auto-renews unless cancelled
Cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Access continues until the end of the billing period after cancellation.
The subscription provides access to platform features only and does not guarantee:

casting
employment
